Media Specialist
As Media Specialist at Epoch 5, Megan utilizes both new and traditional media to enhance the visibility, reputation and brand of our clients. She has established a social media presence for a variety of organizations in both the non-profit and corporate realm, including clients Bethpage Federal Credit Union and Briarcliffe College. She consistently maintains each account and monitors all things social media.
Megan has extensive experience utilizing social media to target specific demographics and communicate with typically hard-to-reach audiences. With one Epoch 5 client, she secured over one million social media impressions — for a fraction of the cost of traditional advertising.
In addition, Megan utilizes traditional media to strategically place clients in print and on radio and TV. By consistently building and maintaining relationships with media outlets in the tri-state area and at national trade publications, she is able to generate high visibility placements that advance a client’s goals.
Before joining Epoch 5, Megan completed several communications internships. Prior to graduating from Plattsburgh State University with a B.A. in Public Relations/Advertising, she served as a Teaching Assistant while managing several campaigns for local businesses and corporations. Megan also received the school’s award for Outstanding Service in Public Relations.
Megan has been involved with numerous non-profits, volunteering for organizations including The American Red Cross, American Cancer Society, and The Girl Scouts of the USA. She currently volunteers her time to the Foundation Fighting Blindness. Megan resides in Dix Hills, NY.
