Jo Keim

Jo Keim is a communications professional with extensive experience managing public relations, marketing, and development programs for corporate and not-for-profit organizations. Jo has been with Epoch 5 Public Relations since 1997 and currently serves as account supervisor.
She has managed a wide range of accounts, including noted businesses, educational and not-for-profit institutions, real estate companies, and professional services firms. Among the accounts she supervises or has supervised are: Bethpage Federal Credit Union, Adelphi University, AvalonBay Communities, Inc., T. Weiss Realty, Long Island Children's Museum, dmg world media, TSNN.com, St. Joseph's College, and the law firm Forchelli, Curto, Schwartz, Mineo, Carlino & Cohn, LLP. She has also served accounts including Cablevision, King Kullen, and New York Institute of Technology.
Prior to joining Epoch 5 Public Relations, Jo managed public relations for St. Charles Hospital & Rehabilitation Center in Port Jefferson, and United Cerebral Palsy of Greater Suffolk in Hauppauge.
In her years living in New York City, Jo worked in the Publications Department of the Brooklyn Botanic Garden as editor of the Garden's world-renowned Plants & Gardens series, and as writer and production supervisor for brochures, annual reports and specialty publications.
Jo has worked in development as well as public relations and marketing, raising public and private funding - including grants from the National Endowment of the Humanities, New York State Council on the Arts, and private foundations - to establish the Staten Island Children's Museum, underwrite TheatreWorks USA, and support the completion of a NYC Film Festival entry.
A graduate of Stony Brook University, Jo is active with several professional organizations, including serving on the Board of Directors of the Public Relations Professionals of Long Island and the Bellport Film Society.
